Save the Children Eswatini was established in the early 1960s as a school feeding and sponsorship programme; however, by the late 90s, it repositioned itself directing its focus on the Child Protection Programme as its core function, in line with the needs of Eswatini Children. It is a full member of a global movement, Save the Children International, which is made up of 30 member organizations and operating in more than 120 countries.
To create a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation.
To inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
Guide our behavior and are the principles by which we make decisions; Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Ambition and Creativity.
Vulnerable children including those affected by HIV&AIDS are protected, healthy and educated and are better able to realize their rights.
Our programs are mainly divided into four categories which are: advocating towards child friendly policies and laws aimed at creating an enabling environment where all children are afforded their rights to protection from all forms of abuse; strengthening prevention of HIV/AIDS pandemic through promoting access to Adolescents Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR); intervening to relieve hunger and while promoting sustainable livelihoods amongst vulnerable communities.
